ABOUT THE GAME

This DLC is only compatible with the version of the base game (Pokemon Violet or Pokemon Scarlet) you own.

Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC consists of two different adventures: The Teal Mask, and The Indigo Disk. Each part of the DLC will not only take you on new Pokémon adventures, but will also introduce you to new Pokémon and see the return of over 230 Pokémon from previous generations.

The first DLC (The Teal Mask) includes:

New Kitakami region, described as a land where 'a great mountain towers over the land and the people live at its base'.
Returning Pokémon from past generations that were not included in the base game (230 in total over the two DLCs).
New Pokémon Okidogi, Munkidori, Fezandipiti and Legendary Pokémon Ogerpon.
New characters (including Trainers Carmine and Kieron as seen in official artwork).
New outfit.
New story involving joining an outdoors study program held between your academy and another school, and unraveling mysteries behind the folktales that have been passed down in Kitakami.

The second DLC (The Indigo Disk) includes:

Traveling to new school Blueberry Academy, which most of is located under the ocean, and its curriculum emphasizes Pokémon battling.
More returning Pokémon from past generations that were not included in the base game (230 in total over the two DLCs).
New Legendary Pokémon Terapagos
New outfit.
New characters.
Continuing the story of the first Teal Mask DLC.

This worked straight away and activated no problem in nintendo eshop. I even got the Hisuin Zoroark pre order code in the email after I activated it. Amazing!!

It works!
For anybody worried that this may not work - it does! When you put in the code on e shop it then asks you which version of the dlc you want, make sure to choose the same one as your game! Because once you've picked it, you cannot change it.

Activation

Instructions on redeeming a software download code in Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch.

Additional Information:

An internet connection and Nintendo Account are required to access Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch.
For assistance with redeeming a code for a Nintendo Switch Online membership, click here.

Complete These Steps:

Select “Nintendo eShop” on the HOME Menu to launch Nintendo eShop.
Select the account you want to use.
Select “Redeem Code” on the left side of the screen.
Enter the 16-character download code.
- Some retailer cards for Nintendo Switch software will include both a Control Number and a Download Code. Make sure that you are entering the Download Code (usually begins with a B, no hyphens in the number) and not the Control Number (usually begins with an S, has hyphens).
- Any letters and symbols not used with prepaid codes (i.e. O, I, Z, commas, hyphens, etc.) will be disabled from the on-screen keyboard.
Select “Confirm”. The software will begin downloading once the code is confirmed.
- The software icon will appear on the HOME Menu, with a download status bar. The status bar will disappear once the game download is complete.
