Okay so, yeah, Fable III used Windows live so at first it seemed like the game wouldn't work on my PC since I have Windows 11, but guess what? Easy fix! You can either follow this 3 minute tut, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4AxV9A77IHc which solves the issue and the game runs smooth like butter, still in 2023!
The tut utilises a Windows live remover from: https://timeslip.users.sourceforge.net
Super useful because Fable is absolutely one of my nostalgia plays - so I was happy to have this work out.

such a great game so much nostalgia involved when playing, forgot how much you can do, was a lot more like the 1st rather than the 2nd
Open the Steam client, login and locate the Games tab on the top menu. Click this and then select “Activate a Product on Steam…”
