If you redeem on Microsoft's website you enter the code in, turn on automatic billing (you can turn this off right after it's just for the free month) repeat this twice as you get two codes for 6 months ( 2x 3 months codes).

The easiest and cheapest option
Fantastic option to upgrade your Gold to Gamepass ultimate. I Normally buy a year at a time but decided to buy 3 full 12 month Xbox Live Gold codes and they worked a charm. Only issue was on Microsoft’s side but I gave it 30 mins and the other 2 codes were successfully activated. 3 years Xbox Live gold and then paid for 1 month of Gamepass and it converted everything to 3 full years of Gamepass ultimate. 3 years of Ultimate costs £362, I got it for £111 using this Method. Highly recommended.

Works As Advertised
1st review. "Xbox Gold 3 Months, Worldwide" (payed in CAD, activated in Canada) code was delivered quickly and was instantly redeemable in Xbox Store on console.
I'm still skeptical about these kinds of services/companies, but so far "CDKeys.com" looks safe and good (pending further purchases/reviews).

** TURKEY VERSION ** HOW ACTIVATE 36 MONTHS OF GOLD THEN CONVERT TO GAMEPASS ULTIMATE
After activating 36 months of xbox Live Gold (Turkey) via ExpressVPN (7 days free on Android) I suffered a few heart stopping moments looking at "your subscription is from a different region" when trying to upgrade to Gamepass Ultimate for $1... and then being told I needed a debit card and address in Turkey to upgrade via the MS Store in Turkey.

Solution is to buy 1 months Gamepass Ultimate for Turkey (5 quid currently) and activate it, it'll then convert the 36 Months of Gold to Ultimate.
