GoTG is a BLAST!
This game was an unexpeccted surprise! It had fun platforming, somewhat engaging battles, and a lot of replayability.

I didn't think the game was as wonderful as so many others. The art direction is beautiful, the story's silly, which is kind of the point, but it didn't really hold my attention.

Best marvel game in years
Having played all the recent marvel games i was a bit worn out but then picked this up which is a fantastic story fantastic game fantastic music so fun to play i want to play it again

It's actually good!
After Square Enix's last attempt with that awful Avengers game, I was sceptical with GOTG thinking that the game would get same treatment. I am happy to say, this isn't the case, infact, it's a very good game! A good original story, the banter between the characters is funny and well voice acted. The soundtrack is an absolute banger. The visuals are beautiful with ray-tracing on. Only downside of the game is the combat can get repetitive and you are restricting to Peter/Star-Lord. Would have been awesome to play as other characters.

toughly enjoyed this game. was very shocked at how fun the game was and the storyline i personally thought was very well written.

A fantastical blast through the Guardians universe
Story - 10/10.
Without a doubt the strongest part of this game, it takes the time to connect you with all the characters and make you really care about their stories and the role they play in the grand adventure. Stuffed full of the signature Guardians banter executed expertly every time, you'll be laughing and crying plenty as you make your way across the Andromeda galaxy (and even save it, as Guardians do.)

Combat - 6/10
Probably the game's weakest link, but by no means boring or terrible. It's nothing special, but it works, feels satisfying and never gets boring. While you are restricted to only playing as Peter, you command the other Guardian's abilities in combat and synergize to create epic finishers.

Exploration - 8/10
While Guardians is by no means an open world game, there's plenty of side paths and hidden secrets to find in every level including cosmetics, which all look pretty great! The movement can feel a little "off" every now and then, but exploring the galaxy is a ton of fun.
