It’s been seven months since the deadly virus hit NYC and the world, critically reducing the population in The Division. Every effort was put in to protect Washington D.C., but the city is now on the brink of collapse. If Washington collapses, the rest of the country will.
Chaos has begun with civilians and enemies fighting for power, work against each other to collect the sparse essentials. As a Division agent, you and your team must save society and bring order back to the streets whilst protecting civilians. You’re the last hope after the collapse, so prepare for a relentless fight.
- Washed out Washington D.C. - The open world is full of storms, flooding, chaos and dangerous. Washington D.C. was the most protected city but now is full of fractured hope and civilians doing anything to survive. The streets are now overrun with enemy factions inflicting pain and fear to take control and each enemy has a different agenda. You must protect what remains and ensure the city doesn’t collapse.
- Best Endgame Experience - The Division 2 has been designed so your gameplay doesn’t have to stop. Even when you finish the compelling story-line, you will have access to a full year of additional post-launch content. This means you can continue your story-driven missions with new tasks, map expansions, and gameplay modes.
- Player Progression and New Specializations - The fun really doesn’t have to stop after you complete the main campaign, you will gain access to new specializations including demolitionist, sharpshooter, and survivalist. Each of these also have a new progression system with new skills and more so you can maximize your agent in the chosen role.
- Dynamic Living World - The essentials such as food, medicine, and ammunition are all sparse creating a civil war to gain the necessities. Factions fight to gain access to these essentials and locations to ultimately gain control of Washington DC. In The Division 2, enemies and civilians will collide and create a dynamic world for you to explore.
- Unite the Civilians - Some civilians are joined together to build their own societies to protect themselves from enemies – but they are still under threat and you are their last hope. If you help them, they will help you build your base and come to your aid. Build relationships with the civilians as you build hope that Washington will survive.
- A Renewed Dark Zone Experience - Do you dare to venture to the Dark Zone? The loot is exceptional, but the stakes are high! It’s the most dangerous area in Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 where you will feel fear, betrayal, and tension. Any other agent can turn on you at any moment and steal your loot – if you make it out alive, the rewards are high.
