A blast from the past!
The team did an amazing job in bringing back Crash Bandicoot after so many years. I was so hyped when I saw that the game was coming to Steam and the team behind it delivered that hype. Crash Bandicoot is a linear 3D platformer with responsive and tight controls. With the N. Sane Trilogy, you get to experience Crash Bandicoot 1, 2 and 3, which were brought back into a modern era. The soundtrack is neat and the visuals are awesome. Finding every box in every level can encourage exploration (i.e. secret routes). The exploration is optional for those that may only want to progress through the levels. You can even speedrun the levels to receive time relics, which are also optional.
The cutscenes are nice and the team did well on retelling the plots of each game. They even added extra small details, such as new animations, that were not in the original trilogy. The only negative thing I can say about the game is the hitboxes felt a tad bit off. They can be ignored though when progressing through the game. You'll most likely know where they are anyway. If you are looking for a good and challenging 3D platformer, then I recommend that you give this game a try.

Nostalgia Overload
Not only does this game offer a hit of nostalgia but it's also a fantastic set of games remastered perfectly. Sure there are a few minor problems but a kid could pick this up and never know it was simply a remaster. If you liked Crash Bandicoot back in the day, or this somewhat peaks your interest you will not be disappointed. Also be prepared to fight back the urge throw your PC out of the window every 5 minutes.
